Elaine has served on the Church Council for three years, helped establish a Women's Ministry, planned Wall Shakers community workshops, attended multiple Global Methodist Women's Conferences, and participated in small-group Bible studies. She and her husband have traveled to Bulgaria twice, building relationships with clergy and laity and providing financial support to two churches there. They also support Global Methodist seminary students through scholarships at the Wesley House of Studies at Truett Seminary, Baylor University. Elaine and her husband have two grown daughters and nine grandchildren. She enjoys hiking, meeting new people, and traveling the world in service to the Lord.
